Presenting hilites from the big three perennial favorites, The
Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, and HMS Pinafore, SAVOY EXPRESS also
brings to life selections from The Gondoliers, Iolanthe, Princess
Ida, Ruddygore, Trial by Jury, Yeomen of the Guard, and much more!
Its premiere offering, "Gilbert & Sullivan: Aspects of Love,"
wends its merry way through the "many, various ways" of love
found in the repertoire: lost love; newfound love; unrequieted
love; unabashed love...even not even a clue love! SAVOY EXPRESS'
other offering, "The Hit List," revives many all-time favorites
of the G&S canon: Three Little Maids, I Am the Captain of the
Pinafore, Tit-Willow, My Name is John Wellington Wells,
and more!
Available in one-hour and two-hour versions, these delightful,
instructive programs, complete with sparkling choreography, and
presented with piano accompaniment and a minimum of sets, costumes
and props, are wonderfully easy to produce and are sure to delight
